RFD-TV The Theatre is starting a new tradition by honoring The National Day of Prayer at its theatre on Thursday, May 1, 2008. The theatre has invited five members of the Branson area clergy to deliver the prayer and is featuring performances by Penny Gilley, Jeff Brandt, Doug Gabriel, and the original Plummer Family including Darrell, Rosie, and Randy Plummer.

“It is an honor to host this year’s National Day of Prayer gathering at our theatre,” says Jeff Brandt, theatre performer and marketing manager for RFD-TV The Theatre.  “We ask that you join us in thought and prayer to pray for the well-being of our great nation.”

Penny Gilley, headlining performer at the theatre says, “This is a time in our nation when we need to be united. I truly believe the best way to do this is through prayer.”
